Wings of Faith Parrot Rescue and Rehabilitation

Picture
Welcome to Wings of Faith, a small family owned and operated Parrot rescue. We are located in the beautiful foothills of Tennesse in a small town called Walland. We have been working with and rehabilitating birds for the past 8 years but have always had birds in the family. We started out with a small Conure and worked our way up to larger birds. We have put years of research and dedication into our birds and are very proud of them. We work very closely with our vet Dr. Greenacres of UT. She has been wonderful to us and updates us regularly on new findings in the avian world.  We currently have 13 birds housed with us. Two Greencheek Conures, one Sun Conure, one Alexandrian Parakeet, one Umbrella Cockatoo, two Yellow-Naped Amazons, one Blue-Fronted Amazon, one Yellow-Crowned Amazon, three Blue and Gold Macaws, and one Greenwing Macaw.  To find out each birds story just visit the "Meet our Birds" page.  We are not currently an official non-profit organization but are working deligently towards that goal. In order to become a non-profit you have to pay quite a bit of money which we just don't have right now. We pour all of our extra money into our birds. They always need new toys, cages, dishes, food, vet care, etc... If you would like to help in anyway please feel free to donate. You can even pick out a special needs bird and sponser him/her. There is no donation too small, every little bit helps. We also need  safe toys and cages. Each bird is housed in its own individual cage so you can see how we would run out rather quickly. Every bird is also fed a pelleted diet along with plenty of fruits and veggies and sometimes whatever we eat for dinner they get as well.  We also have a few birds that take medicine every day so that ups the costs as well.  Our ultimate goal is to raise $2000. That will cover our non-profit fee making us official, along with any taxes or fees needed and whatever is left over will go straight to the birds care. I know we can do this, but we cannot do this alone. We need your help.
